Respected Shri Sharad Narayan Patil Sir, the founder trustee of Kumud Memorial Fund, is the true architect of Kumud Vidyamandir School. For 25 consecutive years since the establishment of the school, he served as the headmaster of the secondary section, laying the foundation for all school activities. Due to his tireless efforts, in 1985, the Maharashtra government honored him with the Ideal Teacher Award.
Patil Sir, who is deeply passionate about literature, was also honored with the ‘Sahitya Mitra’ award by the Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad. This remarkable personality, with a sensitive heart, considers the school and its students as the center of his life and has tirelessly worked for their education. His dedication to the school and respect for students are the true hallmarks of his leadership.

Respected Mrs. Meena Sharad Patil
Chairperson of the Institution, (State Award-Winning Former Headmistress)
Mrs. Meena Sharad Patil, the Chairperson of the Kumud Memorial Fund, serves as the Founder and Executive Trustee of the institution. As the second headmistress of the school, she successfully managed the responsibilities of the position and made significant contributions to the school’s development. Under her leadership, in 2000, the Maharashtra government honored her with the Ideal Teacher Award.
Her specialty lies in micro-planning of programs, and her sharp planning skills have made her guidance invaluable for every school activity. She has exceptional proficiency in Sanskrit, Marathi, and English, which has led to remarkable progress in language education at the school. Mrs. Meena Patil’s unwavering dedication to student development and her commitment to the school are truly inspiring.
